CURRICULUM LBJJ-101 & LBJJ-102
LBJJ-101 and LBJJ-102 courses run for a span of 16 weeks (4 months) and cycle back to the start after this period. Students are encouraged to stay in this program for up to 2 years and periodically return to this program to reinforce the fundamentals.
In this program we will look at all the major positions of BJJ and learn 2 attacking or defensive techniques in each of these positions. More than 90% of the techniques we learn here work in both GI and No-GI. Sparring (rolling) is NOT part of this course. We do not suggest sparring until you have gone through LBJJ 101 at least once and have a strong understanding of its content. At this point, it is likely (but not guaranteed) that you will receive your first stripe. Promotions are based on consistency, skill acquisition and knowledge comprehension.
